This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
D'aww, you've added me to your deviantwatch? Thank you!
By the way, I asked my art teacher what type of clay the class uses, and I freaking forgot what it's called. XP But! It's definitely not b-mix or porcelain, sadly. It's a greenware mix that's high in silica, so it's tough. :I
I tried working with it on the wheel anyway, and when I was trying to narrow the neck, I screwed up and it collapsed. The rest of the pot was still good though, so I trimmed off the screwy part. At least I'll have a dainty little stretch-pot. I'll give the long-neck vase another try once I complete my new throwing assignment and glaze my slab-construction tea-light.
was it soldate 60 or maybe recycled? cuz those are really tough for me I struggle because I'm weak lol. I would make a video of me throwing a bottle but I do everything wrong like pull the cylinder up unevenly and it looks terrible when I'm doing it lol.
When making the neck part try not to thin out the bend of it too much because then all of the weight will be in the neck and it will cause the belly to collapse, I do that all the time.
It's a really tough clay. Not as tough as red clay, but close. Glad to know I'm not the only one who looks awkward when throwing though. Hahahah..
I'll do my best to avoid making the bend too thin. I'll write it on my hand or something, that way I see the reminder when I'm working on the wheel. lol I'll give it another try once I'm done with my current throwing assignment. :)
